The welcome · Where bhangra comes from
The welcome
We arrive early, set up the music and space, and open with a few minutes on where bhangra comes from.
Interactive bhangra dance workshops from Jodi Dancers for schools, SEND settings, workplaces and community groups. Culture, movement and a group performance in one session.
Bhangra began as a harvest celebration where everyone danced, not just the best dancers. Our workshops keep it that way, so nobody is left on the side.
Workshops · Spec sheet
Best for groups who want to take part, not just watch.
No experience needed. Every session is shaped around your group's age, space and ability.
The welcome · Where bhangra comes from
The warm-up · Everyone in
The routine · Step by step
The performance · Group finale
Claps, shouts and the dhol beat, and nobody left on the side.
We arrive early, set up the music and space, and open with a few minutes on where bhangra comes from.
Simple moves on the beat to loosen everyone up, with options for anyone seated or less mobile.
We teach a short routine in small sections, so every age and ability can keep up.
The session ends with your group performing the routine together, with time for a photo before we hand your space back.
60 or 90 minutes, ending with your group's own performance.

We're in our sixties but there were all age ranges taking part. The instructors were very welcoming, friendly and encouraging… even for someone like me who dances like a brick!
From start to finish their professionalism, care for students' development and energy radiated through. It was an absolute pleasure working with Rav & Prit.
The session was beautifully tailored to be resident and wheelchair-friendly. It was heartwarming to see our residents, staff, and visiting families all joining in the fun.
Incredible dancing crew! Their tour stop in Gloucester was so much fun and high energy! The teachers are very creative and friendly.
